By 2050, it is estimated that 68% of the world\u2019s population will live in cities,\u201d said Mac Pier. \u201cHow can we reach these vast people groups? They will be reached by city gospel movements that follow the strategies modeled in the Book of Acts. Cities shape culture, movements shape cities, and leaders catalyze movements.\u201d<\/p>\n
The theme of the Lausanne Congress, held September 22-28, was \u201cLet the Church Declare and Display Christ Together.\u201d Lausanne was founded in 1974 by Billy Graham and John Stott with an emphasis on unity, global evangelism and world missions.<\/p>\n
