Dr. Pier has been catalyzing Christian movements most of his adult life. In 1988, he founded Concerts of Prayer Greater New York, a prayer movement that has united pastors and advanced a culture of prayer across Metro New York for the last 36 years. This year is the 35th consecutive gathering of the Pastors Prayer Summit.
In 2008, Dr. Pier founded Movement.Org (formerly, the New York City Leadership Center) and along with Dr. Tim Keller, co-founded Movement Day.
Mac and his wife Marya have lived in New York City for 40 years. He has authored or co-authored ten books. He and Marya have three children and five grandchildren.

A.R. Bernard is one of the most influential religious leaders and transformative visionaries in the United States. He is the Founding Senior Pastor of the Christian Cultural Center (CCC) in Brooklyn, NY, with a membership of more than 40,000, and campuses in Long Island, Orlando, Atlanta, and a virtual campus that reaches thousands worldwide. He enjoyed a 10-year career in finance before opening a small storefront church in 1978 in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn.
Pastor Bernard is a preeminent thought leader in faith and culture and a highly sought-after media contributor. A lifelong civil rights activist, he often collaborates with national and global faith leaders, building solid partnerships that advocate for religious freedom and social justice. Pastor Bernard previously served as the president of the Council of Churches of the City of New York and is currently the president of the Commission of Religious Leaders of New York City (CORL), an organization representing all faith traditions.

The Reverend Doctor Charles O. Galbreath is the Senior Pastor of three congregations in three different states: He pastors Alliance Tabernacle, formerly Clarendon Road Church in Brooklyn, New York; Bowie New Life Assembly Church in Upper Marlboro, Maryland; and Victory Alliance Church in Union, NJ. In addition to his responsibilities to the church, Pastor Charles serves as Assistant Professor of Ministry at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
In 2017, he was elected to the Board of Directors for the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination. Dr. Galbreath serves on Brooklyn Community Board 17, the SUNY Downstate Medical Center’s Community Advisory Board, the Clergy Advisory Council of the Fire Department of the City of New York, The Center for Community Alternatives, and is the treasurer of the 67th Precinct Clergy Council (The Godsquad).

Pastor Gabrielle Beam, Urban Gospel Movement Visionary, Convener, and International Prayer Leader, leads Mary of Bethany Anglican Mission and collaborates with many pastors and ministry leaders for sustainable revival in Connecticut and the Northeast.
She is the founder of Saturate Bridgeport, focused on re-evangelizing and transforming urban spaces while building unity in the body of Christ and of Rise to Read, working to eliminate early childhood reading illiteracy. She holds a MDiv and a STM from Yale Divinity School and sits on numerous boards throughout the region. Gabrielle is married to her best friend, David, and has two adult children.

Dr. Marc Rivera serves as the Senior Pastor of the Primitive Christian Church (La Iglesia Cristiana Primitiva) in Lower Manhattan since 1994. The church is a vibrant bilingual multicultural urban ministry that is home to people from many cultures and walks of life. Prior to becoming its Senior Pastor, Dr. Rivera served the same church for 16 years as Associate Pastor. He has been in pastoral ministry there for over 40 years.
In 1991, after working on Wall Street for over a decade, Dr. Rivera left a promising career with a high-tech Fortune 500 corporation to enter full time pastoral ministry. Today, Dr. Rivera, who serves on several ministry and organizational boards, is considered a resource in the area of urban inner-city ministry. He is sought after because of his depth of knowledge of the Latino church and its emerging role in the 21st century.

"Terry A. Smith has served as Lead Pastor of The Life Christian Church in the New York City/New Jersey metropolitan area for thirty-three years. He has been married to Sharon for forty-two years, and they have three adult children: Sumerr, Caleb, and Christian, and daughters-in-law, Lindsay and Amanda.

Named one of the Church of God in Christ’s “150 Most Influential Women” and a “Woman in the Pulpit” to watch by the New York Times, Vandalyn Kennedy has been recognized as a change agent, community-builder, and leader for more than 20 years. She serves as Chairlady of the International Youth Department of COGIC and is one of the leaders of Movement.org’s Advanced Leadership Institute.
Outside of the ministry, Vandalyn is a highly successful entrepreneur: In 2008, she founded the human capital solutions startup Bridging the Gap (BTG) to help individuals, teams, and organizations realize their potential. BTG delivers leadership development, coaching, mentoring, and consulting through targeted training, classes, workshops, and events in both secular and sacred spaces.

Fred Provencher is the Lead Pastor of Cornerstone Christian Church in Wyckoff NJ where he has served since 1996. His wife, Debbie Provencher, is the Executive Director of Lighthouse Pregnancy Resource Center headquartered in Hawthorne NJ. Together they have four adult children and three grandchildren.
Fred is a past Board Member of Movement.Org, (then Concerts of Prayer Greater NY) and has been coming to the Prayer Summit for 25 years. He has degrees from Rutgers University, Denver Seminary and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.

Mullery Jean-Pierre is the Pastor of Beraca Baptist Church in Brooklyn NY. When he was called out of corporate America, he left his management position at a Wall Street firm and never looked back. Under his leadership, Beraca Baptist Church has grown into a multicultural congregation of 1,400 members in three locations with congregants from 20 different nationalities. As his desire to reach the community grew, He founded the Beraca Community Development Corporation (BCDC), which includes youth development programs, a food pantry, serving their local seniors adult day care center, and providing employment and mentoring for youths in the church and local high schools..

Mark is the NYC Area Director of CarePortal, a connecting platform that aims to reverse the foster care crisis nationally. He serves on the Advisory Board of the National Fellowship for Black and Latino Male Educators, on the Boards of New Life of NYC and We Rise 365, and as Associate Minister at the Church of God of East New York.
Mark’s three goals in life are to preach, teach, and influence government legislation to see individuals, families, and cities be completely whole and filled with Upstream Kingdom Justice. He says of himself, “I just want to be known as a small man with a Huge God.”

Mitchell Torres is the lead pastor of Harvest Fields Community Church in the Bronx. The mission of Harvest Fields Church is: “Revealing God. Reaching People. Restoring Lives.” Pastor Mitchell is a seasoned church planter who is committed to shepherding, mentoring and empowering people to advance the kingdom of God. He is a relational pastor who is committed to the church, leadership development and implementing creative ways for outreach.

Monique Sade has served as a worship leader and choir director for 15+ years at Beraca Baptist Church, one of the largest Haitian-American congregations in Brooklyn. God has opened doors for her team to minister in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, Estonia, and across the East Coast.
Monique is also working on her debut album and will offer the proceeds to the Fritz Legacy Music School. She is currently living in Orlando FL, helping local churches build worship leaders and worship teams! She is also the president of Chosen For the Journey Inc., a family-owned music entertainment company.
HONOREES

Glen, originally a farm boy from Indiana, became a Christian while in college. Carole came to faith at 13, but her faith became real during her college years. As single staff with Cru, they moved to NYC in the mid-70s to work on the "I found it" evangelistic campaign. They married in 1979 and were part of the team starting Cru’s inner-city ministry in 1983.
In 1989, Glen and Carole were founding members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church NYC. Glen's greatest joys include helping new people discover the real New York City and interacting about city ministry with his son and daughter and their spouses. He serves the inner-city ministry of Cru in locating urban leaders across the country who want to serve urban churches wholistically. Carole has had significant roles within Cru Inner City through Human Resources and communications.

Dr. Arthur W. Davenport and the Rev. Norma Gean Bethea-Davenport have been a blessing to the First Church of God, their local community, and beyond for many years. They enjoy a blended family of five children, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Rev. Davenport served as a senior pastor at First Church of God for 42 years until December 31, 2019. He has held positions at the local and national levels in a sea of love, faith, hope, prayer, and vision that produced pastors, ministers, and business and government leaders.

Pura M. De Jesus-Coniglio is an attorney and the Pastor/Shepherd of Love Gospel Church Without Walls, caring for and serving the most underprivileged and underserved communities in the Metro New York region for over 25 years. Pura is the author of the book, The Bronx: Exposing its True DNA & Breaking The Stigma. She also serves as the Director of the Operation Bronx/NYC Restoration Prayer Network and the Prayer Coordinator for the Bronx Region for PRAY NEW YORK, mobilizing churches and leaders across NYC for citywide prayer initiatives.

Tom and Vicky Mahairas have served in ministry together for over five decades. The couple, who are the parents of five children and 10 grandchildren, co-founded Manhattan Bible Church, Manhattan Christian Academy, The Love Kitchen (mercy ministries), Transformation Life Center (Christian rehabilitation center for men), New York Gospel Outreach, and most recently, CitiVision, where Tom has been training and equipping disciples in evangelism to go and reach their cities with the gospel. Tom credits Vicky’s extensive knowledge of the Greek language as a key component in their It’s All Greek 2 Me video podcast.

Pastor Tim Chicola was born and raised on Long Island’s south shore (Seaford) and served as the Lead Pastor at The Crossing Church for 30 years from December 1994 to 2024. Pastor Tim is passionate about the local church, believing that a Christ-honoring and Holy Spirit-directed local church is the last great hope of the world. His life verse is 1 Corinthians 15:58: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
Pastor Tim’s dear wife Marianne, a servant of Christ and the Crossing Church, went home to her Savior in August of 2023 after a two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer. Together they were blessed with four wonderful children, Joseph (deceased), Kaitlin Elliott (Scott), Emily Carpenter (Matthew), and Caroline Chicola.
