SPEAKER BIOS

Mac Pier

Dr. Pier has been catalyzing Christian movements most of his adult life. In 1988, he founded Concerts of Prayer Greater New York, a prayer movement that has united pastors and advanced a culture of prayer across Metro New York for the last 36 years. This year is the 34th consecutive gathering of the Pastors’ Prayer Summit.

In 2008, Dr. Pier founded Movement.Org (formerly, the New York City Leadership Center) and along with Dr. Tim Keller, co-founded Movement Day.

Mac and his wife Marya have lived in New York City for 40 years. He has authored or co-authored ten books.  He and Marya have three children and five grandchildren.

David Ireland

Dr. Ireland is the founder and lead pastor of Christ Church, a 10,000-member congregation in North Jersey with over 70 nationalities. His ministry spans 75+ nations, training leaders worldwide.

Dr. Ireland is also working to launch The CARE Center, an integrative suite of services that includes a legal clinic, food pantry, clothing program, mental health services, and 20 other social justice services to empower the marginalized and under-resourced.

Recently appointed to the Governor's Advisory Commission on Faith-Based Initiatives, he and his wife, Dr. Marlinda Ireland, have been married since 1984, with two adult daughters and a son-in-law.

AM-Charles Hammond

Dr. Hammond joined Alliance University (formerly Nyack College & Alliance Theological Seminary) in 2005 as Assistant to the President and served as Vice President for Church Relations & Dean of the Chapel until the school closed in August 2023 after 140 years of service.

Charles has also served as an Associate Pastor at the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church for the past 35 years and is on the board of the New York School of Urban Ministry and the Advisory Board of Selah City Church in Queens, NY.

He is married to Myrna Marie for 42 years, has two grown children and three grandchildren.

Gabrielle Beam

Pastor Gabrielle Beam, Urban Gospel Movement Visionary, Convener, and International Prayer Leader, leads Mary of Bethany Anglican Mission and works with many pastors and ministry leaders for sustainable revival in Connecticut and the Northeast.

She is the founder of Saturate Bridgeport, focused on re-evangelizing and transforming urban spaces while building unity in the body of Christ, and of Rise to Read, working to eliminate early childhood reading illiteracy. She holds a MDiv and a STM from Yale Divinity School and sits on numerous boards throughout the region. Gabrielle is married to her best friend, David, and has two adult children.

AM-Joshua Rodriguez

After a 10-year Wall Street career, Bishop Joshua Rodriguez became Founding Pastor of The Cityline Church, a major bilingual Latino ministry in the Northeast. His societal impact and advisory roles with New Jersey governors and state commissions highlight his cross-sector leadership.

A globally recognized author and mentor, Joshua bridges generational gaps and inspires internationally. With multiple earned graduate degrees, his dynamic oratory reaches worldwide audiences. Residing in New Jersey, he is a devoted family man with his wife Paula, children, and grandchildren.

AM-Steve Milazzo

Pastor Steve leads Bethlehem Assembly of God in Valley Stream, NY, a multi-ethnic church representing 52+ nations and supporting 100+ missions and ministries, locally and globally. Steve has helped plant churches, revitalize struggling churches, and mentored leaders.

Steve is also the Founder and President of Hope Day Network, a ministry that connects churches, organizations, and ministries to their communities through outreaches and ongoing training. To date, Hope Day has served over 155,575 people and trained countless churches in outreach and discipleship.

Pastor Milazzo has been married to Lisa for 40 years and has three daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren.

Monique Sade

Monique Sade has served as a worship leader and choir director for 15+ years at Beraca Baptist Church, one of the largest Haitian-American congregations in Brooklyn. God has opened doors for her team to minister in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, Estonia, and across the East Coast.

Monique is also working on her debut album and will offer the proceeds to the Fritz Legacy Music School. She is currently living in Orlando FL, helping local churches build worship leaders and worship teams! She is also the president of Chosen For the Journey Inc., a family-owned music entertainment company.

Mark Atkinson

Mark discovered purpose and fulfillment in God at age 15 after grappling with suicidal thoughts and depression. Today, he is the NYC Area Director of CarePortal, a connecting platform that aims to reverse the foster care crisis nationally. Mark serves on the Advisory Board of the National Fellowship for Black and Latino Male Educators, on the Boards of New Life of NYC and We Rise 365, and as Associate Minister at the Church of God of East New York.

Mark’s three goals in life are to preach, teach, and influence government legislation to see individuals, families, and cities be completely whole and filled with Upstream Kingdom Justice. He says of himself, “I just want to be known as a small man with a Huge God.”
